◆◆ Installation Methods for Rubber Anti-Seismic Flexible Pipeline

1.Preliminary Preparation: Select a suitable rubber material based on the transported medium (e.g., nitrile rubber for oil transportation, EPDM rubber for acid-alkali transportation); inspect that the rubber layer has no cracks or bubbles, and the reinforcement layer has no detachment.


2.Installation Steps: Adopt clamp connection or flange connection (for medium-diameter pipes); the clamps must be tightened evenly to avoid uneven deformation of the rubber; the two ends of the pipe must be coaxial with the equipment interface to prevent the rubber from being torn due to stress caused by installation deviation; for vertically installed pipes, a limit support must be installed at the top to prevent the pipe from being pulled down by its own weight.


3.Precautions: Avoid direct sunlight and oil pollution (natural rubber is susceptible to corrosion by oil); inspect the aging degree of the rubber regularly (every 1-2 years), and replace it in a timely manner if hardening or cracking is found on the surface; the installation environment temperature must be within the range of -40℃ to 150℃, and heat preservation or cooling measures must be taken if the temperature is outside this range.
